My employer changed my status?

I was a salaried employee and now they have changed my status to an hourly employee. I have not gotten any communication or notification from them. I signed an offer letter when I accepted the job, to make #-amount per month. My direct manager has said thay she has received some notification that there was an audit done at our corporate office, and there is some sort of problem with me being a part time employee on salary. What, if anything, can I do?
