Personal Review About Countdown Timer Software

Are you a master of a department who want to know the remaindertime of your work or task? Or simply want to know how many time before a certain day, such as your mother’s birthday, your wedding anniversary, Christmas day, Allhallowmas, etc? Well, a countdown timer is such a tool just for you! Here are some beautiful and smart countdown timers I will show you. They are: ZeroTimer, Alarm Master, Marxio Timer, Countdown Pro and Time Trek. Following are the detailed introductions of them. Come on with me and pick out a suited one for you!

ZeroTimer is a small countdown timer that enables us to maintain a list of countdown events that can be activated as needed. At the end of the countdown we can be notified via popup window or .wav sound alert, and we can also monitor the countdown progress from a dynamic tray icon that slowly changes color as the countdown progresses. ZeroTimer provides a customizable interface with 3 ready-to-use skins to choose from.

Alarm Master is a simple scheduler and alarm timer that can remind us of our upcoming events. It can play sound alerts (mp3, wav), show an alert dialog and execute programs or documents via command-line. The program supports one-time and recurring reminders for weekly, monthly and yearly alarms. Other features include a choice of interface skins, and a simple countdown timer.

Marxio Timer is an easy to use, yet versatile timer, reminder and scheduling tool that we can use to execute more than a dozen different task types (turn off PC, restart, lock screen, display text, run selected application, send keystrokes etc.). Each task is configured as individual configuration file that can be loaded as needed or automatically launched when our computer starts. Once activated, the task displays a progress window (desktop the system tray) that keeps track of the remaining time until launch and also provides options to pause or cancel the task if needed. We can schedule tasks to run at certain times, after a countdown is elapsed or dynamically, based on PC idle time and CPU usage.

Countdown Pro is a flexible countdown timer and reminder program that allows us to create individual or combine countdown bars on our desktop. It includes several themes to choose from and we can also customize the appearance by designing our own theme. Countdown Pro supports single or recurring reminders, countdowns, static notes and timers. A unique feature enables us to export any countdown to a standalone .EXE file that can be shared with friends or family.

Time Trek is a simple countdown clock with some additional features, including multiple alarms, with ability to play MP3, WAV and MIDI files as alarm sounds. The Count down/Count up timer allows us to set a date and time, and it will display the detailed year, month etc. statistics, down the last second. Time Trek can support multiple users, and supports both US and non-US time/date formats. It also includes an optional analog clock display.
