Why does my Honda XL250 motosport have no engine or frame number ?
The plate for the engine number is in perfect condition, it appears never to have been stamped, there is no filing marks or grinding marks on the frame to suggest it has been tampered with. I know it’s not stolen as I knew the previous owner. I need these numbers to get a V5 document. Is there any way the bike could have been imported / built and never given numbers ?
If not…. How do I go about registering it ?
It has had replacement crankcase halves and a new frame, why. because its been stolen. wise up and get a refund because the second you contct the DVLA PC Plod will be around to say Howdee and your nicked sunshine.
Being in posession of nicked gear is a nickable offence in the UK.
