How do you remove flannel backing from a finished table top?
My table protector’s flannel backing has stuck to my table top. I do not know how this happened. I have tried Goo Gone, WD-40, and Fromby’s cleaner with lemon oil and nothing even budges it. I have even let it “soak” for hours. Any other ideas?
See if you can determine what the table top was finished with in the first place. If it was teak oil, then use some steel wool soaked in teak oil to remove the flannel fibres.
