How to get pens to start writing again?
Why is it that even the highest quality gel and roller ball pens such as Pilot G-2, Pilot Vball Grip, Uniball Signo 207, and other gel or roller ball pens stop writing every once in a while.
When using gel or roller ball pens, about 1 in 2 dies out before the ink is even close to being gone. They start writing very fine lines, skipping, and have very poor performance.
Is there a solution to this? A more than temporary fix to this once it happens?
PLEASE HELP!!!
Use warm water, or heat up the ball a little bit. I work at staples, pens are my thing.

For the Uniball Signo Gel RT 0.7 I have the same issue – but the pen is over 5 years old. Less than half the ink is gone, but it has started skipping, running out of ink temporarily, and etc. I guess that is why they sell them in packs of 12; they know the life span of the pen, ink is cheap (so is plastic), and they also know we are addicted to that fine, crisp line.
