If you asked me, I’d say all types of industries. But the thing is, certain items work extremely good in some industries as the need and demand for it is high. What is a padfolio anyway? A padfolio is a book-like organizer. It comes in a size bigger than a notepad or legal pad and contains pockets and compartments that help you keep business cards and important papers, it has pen holders, a calendar and a monthly organizer. Padfolios are designed to hold a multitude of items and can be conveniently carried in a handbag, backpack and business briefcase. Personally, I feel padfolios do best in industries such as event management, education, design, public relations, secretarial, and any job scope that requires planning and organizing and keeping dates and times in tact.

Event Management: This is an exciting industry that needs a person’s passion for the planning and organizing of events that range from corporate functions to weddings, press conferences, birthdays, parties, launching events and product introductions and everything else in between. As an event planner, you would need to plan several different events at one time, juggling different clients at the same time too. You would definitely need a printed padfolio for these types of jobs where you can keep tabs on the dates, when to meet your suppliers, consulting with your clients and so on as well as keep important business cards and to write your notes down of what your clients want and so on.

Education: Being in the education industry, whether is it in high school or college, you would need a printed padfolio to make sure you have all your teacher staff meeting organized, your various classes in order, planning daily class work as well as managing your extra curricular activities for your school. Having a padfolio helps you to ensure that no class clashes, every meeting is attended and help you juggle both your life as a teacher and your after-working hour’s life with your family.

These are just some of the examples in how a padfolio can be useful in industries where planning and organizing are crucial. But padfolios work for everyone and anyone who has the need to organize and plan their daily work schedule. Padfolios are also great in keeping important data and items such as business cards, notes and other items and to scribble notes that suddenly pop up in your mind. A padfolio is a handy item that can be taken anywhere and everywhere with you.
